Vision and Values
A vision for excellence at CCH
Following consultation with all stakeholders, a new vision has been agreed to set the strategic direction of CCH over the next 5 years (2021- 2026). Our vision was borne out of our Christian foundation and reflects the needs of our school community and local context. At its core is the central belief that every member of our school family is unique and, in order to enable every pupil and adult to flourish, we must prioritise building, developing and sustaining honest and respectful relationships which are rooted and grounded in love. Our vision underpins all that we do at CCH, allowing us to build aspirations, self-belief and hope in order to enable every member of our community to flourish.

At Christ Church Hanham, we nurture relationships rooted in love, respect and forgiveness, where every member of our community is enabled and empowered to be their unique self.
Through learning that is rich in knowledge, authentic and purposeful, together we will embark upon a journey of self-discovery and exploration, building on our individual talents and striving for excellence so that we can all flourish.
Through a deep understanding of our world and the stories of our communities, we will embrace challenge and demonstrate resilience. We will take inspiration from each other as we aspire to achieve our dreams and live out our values so that we can make a positive difference to society and contribute to a better world.

Our vision and mission is underpinned by Ephesians 3.14-21
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name. I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
