As the only Church of England school within Hanham, we provide a place of excellence where our children are loved and nurtured, empowering them to grow and flourish as confident, successful and happy young people. At Christ Church Hanham, we reach high and dream big knowing that anything is possible.
We are on an exciting journey as a school as we strive to ensure that all members of our school community are provided with excellence each and every day.
At Christ Church Hanham, everything we do is driven by our core vision- Nurture, Grow, Flourish. Every member of our school team believes passionately that every child deserves excellence each and every day. Through prioritising relationships and getting to really know our children, we are able to understand them as unique individuals, ensuring that our curriculum and teaching is well-matched to their needs. Learning is our core business. It is our aim to ensure that Christ Church is a true learning community- a setting where all members of our community are inspired and deeply interested in learning in order for us all to continually grow and flourish- both individually and as a team.
As a Church of England school, our vision is underpinned by our core Christian values; these values give us a shared reference point for discussing how we can be excellent human beings; people who show friendship, compassion and respect for each other and the world in which we live. A key part of our ethos is ensuring that we are fully inclusive to all, regardless of culture, language, need, family structure or faith. Our children will grow up to be citizens of a diverse world and it is our role to ensure that they are well-equipped to play their part in society. We support our children to reach high and dream big, believing that, at Christ Church, anything is possible!
