About Assessment
At Christ Church Primary school we assess children carefully throughout the year to ensure that all children are making progress and are fulfilling their potential. These assessments are reported to parents at the end of the year in each child’s school report and are discussed throughout the year at Parents meetings. The assessments are also used to plan any extra support that children may need to help them flourish.
At the end of the Foundation stage, Key stage 1 and Key stage 2 teachers have to complete statutory assessments on each individual child and these assessments are then published by the government.
